WHAT YOU SEE:

The most spectacular scenery imaginable, the highest rated beaches in Europe, beautiful coastlines, ancient pubs, prehistoric forts, castles, spectacular countryside, happening cities, cathedrals, abbeys, ruins, ghost towns (from the Famine), small villages, movie sets, the fastest changing country in Europe.

 

WHAT YOU DO:

Hike cliffs overlooking the sea, handle hawks in the ancient sport of falconry, walk the Famine Road, bike the countryside, surf, sail, windsurf, kayak into sea caves, canoe, archery, rock climbing, Irish step dancing, pubs at night, listen to Irish music, explore ancient ruins, ride sturdy Irish cob horses, go spelunking (exploring subterranean caves with miners’ hats and a guide), prepare an authentic Irish barbeque, take midnight walks, feast at a medieval banquet in a castle, shop till you drop, Photography.

 

WHAT YOU LEARN:

How to surf, the history of St. Patrick, digital photography, how to ride horses, Irish Step dancing, a few words of Gaelic, falconry, medieval customs, legends and folklore, astronomy, ecology and environmental principles, Irish history, sports, Irish cooking, Irish dancing, Irish music, the root causes of genocide, compassion.

 

Educational and fun learning by living as a native. We travel not merely to see, but to do and to experience… not in a herd, but through choices.
