YMCA Camp Letts, established in 1906, is firmly rooted in developing self esteem, independance, and enjoyable summer experiences for youth. Camp Letts provides a safe environment for children to make friends, participate in activities, and have a great time! With over 20 countries represented on our staff, Camp Letts offers an international flair and a natural place to experience global diversity.
With over 100 years of experience YMCA Camp Letts offers a safe and stable environment for our guests. We are American Camp Association (ACA) Accredited, National YMCA Camp Standards Accredited, and comply with all Federal and State Regulations. Each year we select caring, alert, and well trained staff through an interview process that includes an FBI background check. Our staff is First Aid and CPR Certified, and program staff is certified in their specific areas including: US Sailing, MD Safe Boating, YMCA Red Cross Lifeguard, USA Water Ski, National Archery, AA County Pool Operators, Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA), Adventure Network Ropes Training, and American Canoe Association.
