Theatre Academy at Pali Overnight Adventures!

Week 1:
In the first week of this specialty, you will rehearse and audition for a part in the show while learning skills such script reading, improvisation, character analysis and the basics of play production. You will also learn aspects from all the roles in theatrical production and have the opportunity to become a director, actor, musical director, set designer, choreographer, lighting designer, sound designer, stage manager, and so much more!

Week 2:
During week two, you will learn first-hand the amount of commitment and hard work it takes to put on a show. Performers will practice, recite, and perfect scenes from the show of choice, as the show begins to come together. Sets will be created and dances choreographed! The camaraderie of the theatre company is incomparable as you spend every available minute rehearsing for your big premiere. The hard work is worth it when your theatre company performs at the Pali Showcase attended by parents, family, and even Hollywood agents, looking for the next triple threat! If you love the theater, this is the specialty for you.

Dance Academy at Pali Overnight Adventures!

For both beginners and those with more experience, our professional dance instructors will guide you through the basics of jazz, ballet, hip-hop, tap, free form and contemporary dance, providing each camper with the individualized attention and instruction to bring out your personal best.


Each day, you will fine-tune your skills while bringing MTV videos to life during two 90-minute intensive classes. By week's end, you will know all the latest moves and have the chance to perform your choreographed dance routine at the Friday night camp showcase.

Those of you joining us for two weeks will choose your favorite music, choreograph an original dance routine, practice and fine-tune it, and ultimately perform to a cheering crowd of Parents, campers and actual Hollywood agents looking for the stars of tomorrow will be to see you rock the house. To top it all off, campers return home with professional headshots and a dance reel to use in furthering their dance careers!

Acting Academy at Pali Overnight Adventures!

From television to film to Shakespeare, campers in the Acting Academy will be taught the basics of acting and encouraged to explore many different genres including classical drama, comedy, and action. During week one, you will work on scenes, monologues, improvisations, character analysis, and theatre games. You will gain confidence while performing in front of an audience and boost your self-esteem as you receive support from your fellow actors! You will also learn techniques taught to the pros, like script reading and auditioning, from the pros themselves. If you have ever dreamed at making it on the silver screen, this is the specialty for you. Those lucky enough to spend two weeks at the Acting Academy will have the chance to star in a Pali Film and audition in front of real Hollywood agents!
