At the ASICS camp we separate each camper by weight class into teams.  Each team has two or three counselors responsible for taking roll each session, teaching and coaching technique in small group settings and leading their team in dual meet and other team competitions.  This format has proven to be a popular event for the campers who attend.  The goal of our team competition is to build  cohesiveness among the wrestlers, to create new friendships and to learn how to work together as a team.  It is exciting to see how close the team gets throughout the week and how serious they take each competition.
