Golden, Colorado, 4/15/2009 – The following Abrakadoodle summer art camps will be held at various sites throughout the West and North Denver Metro areas (Golden, Wheat Ridge, Lakewood, Denver, and Westminster), transporting children to a creative and magical world where they create, design, explore and use their imaginations. These creativity-boosting camps are designed for both preschool and school age children and combine innovative themes, games and music, along with top quality instruction and art materials to inspire creativity and learning.

Art Rocks by Abrakadoodle® - Campers will make musical instruments, learn about rhythm and create some music of their own.

Drawsters™ by Abrakadoodle® - Campers will learn about line drawing, patterning, perspective, as well as creating unusual environments and other drawing techniques.

Green Kids in a Colorful World by Abrakadoodle® - Each work of art is a masterpiece made with recycled materials that both decorate our world and help to constructively reuse and recycle materials in our environment.

If You Give a Kid a Paintbrush by Abrakadoodle® - Campers will create some very cool art by painting, printing, stamping and designing using inspiration from a popular children’s book series that features a mouse, a pig and a moose!

Kids on Canvas by Abrakadoodle® - Campers learn about painting on a variety of canvas surfaces with acrylics.

My First Art Class by Abrakadoodle® - This special series of "My Firsts" includes sculpture, printing, finger painting, quilting, repetition and rubbings.

Museum Magical Mystery by Abrakadoodle® - Who is our mystery Artist?  Campers will be a sleuth and collect clues while exploring the work of great artists like Cezanne, Johns, Korky Paul, O'Keeffe and more.

Pirate Island by Abrakadoodle® - Ahoy all Mateys!  Come aboard as we travel to Pirate Island where we'll find treasure chests, sandy beaches, colorful parrots and lots of fun!
