Air Camp is a brand new adventure in flight for middle school students, which takes place at the birthplace of aviation Dayton, Ohio. At Air Camp, students will experience all the exciting aviation and educational resources in the Dayton region, from the place where the Wright Brothers invented flight to the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Home base for the week will be on the campus of the University of Dayton.
During the week, Air Camp students will:
train and fly as a copilot
learn about aerodynamics and design an aircraft
fly a remotely piloted aircraft
meet the scientists at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base
work in teams to plan a humanitarian rescue mission
