Alley-Oop Skim Camp is a Skimboarding summer camp offering week long sessions throughout the summer. Our camp is held on the the South Side of Indian River Inlet between Dewey and Bethany Beach from 9am-4pm. The week consists of skimboarding instruction, demonstration, and practice mixed with beach activities and plenty of summer time fun. Food, drink, and shade is provided. The week concludes with a mini-contest, which gives campers the opportunity to compete in a SKIM USA contest format and show off their new skills to their parents and counselors. Since 2000 we have been providing a great program teaching, step-by-step, everything from the basics to the advanced levels of skimboarding. Going into our eighth season Alley-oop has grown into the most recognized skim camp in the sport. Since day one we have taken pride in using some of the best skimboarding instructors in the sport to provide an enjoyable skimboarding learning experience. This camp is a great opportunity for kids to spend a week on the beach, enjoying the ocean and meeting others that are interested in the sport of skimboarding. We also now offer Guided Skimboard Adventure Travel Packages for ages 16 and up. These packages are geared more towards experienced skimboarders looking for a vacation based around getting waves and experiencing world class skimboarding.
