Would you like your asthmatic child to have an opportunity to attend a summer camp designed specifically for children with asthma, staffed by trained counselors, nurses, respiratory therapists and physicians?  American Lung Association of Illinois is planning their annual Asthma Adventure Camp program.  Our camp will be held at the YMCA – Camp Duncan, in Northern Illinois.  Due to our generous sponsors, the FEE FOR THE CAMP WILL BE WAIVED! 

Traditional camping activities like hiking, swimming, basketball, soccer, climbing wall and canoeing are scheduled throughout the week or weekend.  Campers will participate in special evening activities as well.  A vital and integral part of camp is asthma education, which is facilitated by our medical team.
