DescriptionBack to top

Set on 600 acres in the Ossipee Mountains of New Hampshire, and hidden away among native hardwood trees, Merrowvista draws you into a life that is rustic, uncomplicated and filled with excitement. Trails lead through forests to peaks just waiting to be explored. Below is Dan Hold Pond, a crystal clear lake that is the hub of waterfront activities. Each summer, Merrowvista welcomes people from all over the world. Our co-ed program is limited to 220 campers at a time, creating a personal experience in a beautiful, pristine setting. Campers live in villages made up of 12 campers and 2 leaders. The village is really the family at Merrowvista. Villages live and eat together family-style in our Eating Lodge, and take their trips together. With focus on cooperation, respect, responsibility, safety, and communication, village members support and learn from each other. For our campers entering grades 3-8, the Pioneer and Trailblazer Programs offers a wide range of in camp activities as well as the opportunity to experience 2-4 day outcamping trips. Pioneers and Trailblazers (grades 3-8) can enjoy one, two, three, or four weeks of spectacular summer camp programming. If you are looking for adventure, check out our popular Four-Trails Wilderness Adventure Trips (grades 9-12). Four-Trails campers enjoy the community and traditions of our in camp program as well as the adventure of hiking, biking, or canoeing expeditions ranging from 4 days to 22 days. Whether you choose to sail or swim, bike or hike, in the end it will be the people that you will remember. You will have answered the challenge of our Camp Motto to become "My own self, at my very best, all the time," surrounded by people with whom you have formed an uncommon bond. You will leave with friends from all over the country and world - a second family.
