For 50 years, campers at Appel Farm have been welcomed into a vibrant, artistic, and accepting community. Campers of varied ages, experience levels and cultural backgrounds work together, gaining confidence in their skills as artists and feeling invigorated in their studies. They are encouraged to take full advantage of this unique opportunity for artistic and personal growth, to experiment and take chances, and to vigorously engage themselves in the arts! Campers choose from our programs in music, theater, dance, visual arts, photography, video, recording arts, creative writing, sports and swim to design their own dynamic camp experience. Individual lessons, ensemble rehearsals and studio classes culminate in performances and exhibitions for an enthusiastic community. We offer two, four and eight-week sessions for boys and girls age 9-17. Appel Farm is located in southern New Jersey, just two and a half hours from New York City.
