Radio-controlled model making
13 to 16 years old
First year : You will make a radio-controlled model glider, using materials such as balsa and laminated wood, steel parts, and Japanese vellum. You will learn the rudiments of model making to build your glider and finish with practical flying (weather permitting), coached by an experienced tutor. Craft rooms are dedicated to all the stages of the construction of your glider, and they are equipped with all the necessary adjusting device. You will go back home with your own hand-made glider and its radio-control. The tutor will advise and guide you continuously all along the making of the model. The fields surrounding the property will enable everybody to fly safely.
Second year : it is possible to come back again to perform and build a different model :an electric bi-motor aircraft. Teenagers will just need to come back with the previous radio, all other materials are provided by the centre (engines, battery, propeller and contactor). The main difficulty will consist in the making of the air frame with sides and bulkheads. This model can easily be taken back home.
Third year : the third year, you will have the opportunity to build, during the holiday, a fast manoeuvrable aircraft with electric driving and a wing .
Naval model making
10 to 16 years old
You will build a radio-controlled model boat, using materials such as balsa, laminated wood and steel. And you will learn how to navigate it. You will use balsa, laminated wood and steel. You will learn to read draughts and use specific tools. Model boats are equipped with an electric engine and a 4,8volts battery. This model can move quite fast according to its size and can be used in a home pool or a lake. It is easier to make than a glider, and is ideal for beginners. The stay will concentrate on building strategies, dealing with wood cutting and radio use.
Of course all boats will be finished on time and tested on the nautical base of Châteauneuf.
Nature discovery

This holiday gives you the opportunity to discover a delightful region thanks to games, fun and of course, to make friends ! You will practice horse riding, pottery, canoeing, art, archery, swimming, fishing and many other activities…You will organise the planning, with the help of your tutors: the activities are elaborated with professionals.
Living on a biological farm is exciting. You will discover the life of animals (horses, donkeys, goats, hens, collecting eggs, the milking of a cow), You will see the garden, play in the fields, in the surrounding woods and by the river.
DRAMA
10 to 16 years old : This activity is managed with a local association
Contents : The stay is organized around theatre specificities such as mime, drama, comedy, extempore playing, the study of various playwrights and anything to meet young people’s expectations. The emphasis is placed on body preparation and knowledge of the stage; communication, mutual respect and self confidence. It is a really enjoyable activity which requires motivation, group work, exchanges with friends and great fun overall. You will be able to take part in a play, not only through acting but also thanks to costume and window dressing creation, stage directing etc… The show is given at the end of the stay and always receives great acclaim. So:” Let the show begin”! !
FASHION
The principal activity is devoted to creating a piece of cloth or fashion accessories. We propose you to imagine, sew or customize a very special pattern, according to your tastes.

beginners. The materials, colours shapes and details such as necks, sleeves, embroideries will make your creation a “haute couture”
achievement.
