THe Arete Swim Camp is conducted at Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey. All swimming sessions are conducted in the fabulous Sonny Werblin Recreation Center. A typical day includes mental training session or nutrition teaching, skill instruction and introduction to training techniques. Recreation time is allocated for games and a ropes or rock climbing course. The camp works with a 1:9 coach to swimmer ratio while on the pool deck. All sessions are directed by Coach Chuck Warner, three Big East Conference Coach of the Year and author of the book "Four Champions, One Gold Medal." Both resident and commuter campers are welcome. The camp has been critically acclaimed with sessions selling out early each year.
