Artech Studios Summer Camp
Summer Address:

State-of-the-Art fun!
A summer of state-of-the-art fun awaits youth who enjoy the creative arts and technology. At Artech Studios in Bridgewater (on Nova Scotias scenic South Shore) kids who like to draw, create, and invent will have the opportunity to bring clay characters to life in claymation movies, design their own video games, and learn other skills like computer animation, web design and 3D graphics.
Summer camps sessions run Monday to Friday. Each week is a new adventure and features one or a number of the creative technologies the studios specialize in. Video Game Creation is always a popular choice. In addition to designing and creating video games, campers will have a chance to experiment with digital sound to create their own sound effects and background music. A 3D graphic component will be introduced this year for campers wanting an extra challenge.
Other weeks will feature Anime (Japanese animation), Robotics, Claymation and Digital Movie production. All programs include a midday swim and other outdoor activities.
Letting imaginations run wild with state-of-the-art technology has long been Artech's owner and director - Ronnie Scullion's - passion and pastime. With the Studios, she is able to engage the creative minds of kids of all ages and share with them the wealth of possibilities made possible with today's high-tech devices.
