Nestled on 15 beautiful wooded acres in Snowmass, Colorado, Aspen Camp provides life-enriching experiences for deaf and hard of hearing youth and adults from all over the world.
Through experiential and adventure based learning, campers build self-confidence and develop leadership and personal communication skills. Just minutes from world-class Aspen Snowmass Resort and protected Wilderness areas, our location provides the perfect environment for fun and educational programming.
Our camp offers something for everyone from outdoor adventure and activities such as backpacking or flyfishing to the ropes challenge course.

JUNE 27-30 ♦ DEAF CHEF APPRENTICE WORKSHOP WITH ROCK RESORTS World renowned Rock Resorts, an international leader in fine dining and luxurious hotels has joined with Aspen Camp to offer the first hands-on workshop in culinary arts specifically designed for deaf and hard of hearing adults (18+) interested in learning more about this exciting career. In this 4-day program, participants will interact with top Chefs at Rock Resorts, learn about all the disciplines within culinary arts, and receive a culinary handbook and certificate upon completion.
JULY 27- AUG 10 ♦ EXTREME SPORTS/LEADERSHIP CAMP FOR ORAL DEAF CAMPERS No one should miss out on an unforgettable week at Aspen Camp. Oral deaf campers, come enjoy a week of extreme sports and recreation this summer!
AUGUST 10- 16 ♦ KODA CAMP Calling all KODAs ages 9-16! Bert Pickell, who has created the very popular KODA camps at Camp Mark 7 is helping us to create an equally unforgettable week at Aspen Camp.
AUGUST 21-24 ♦ FLY FISHING WEEKEND Share your passion for fly fishing with other like minded people in the deaf and hard of hearing community! Aspen Camp is at the heart of the Roaring Fork Valley, voted the nation’s top fly fishing destination. Fish with local guides, optional workshops and guest speakers will compliment the rustic accommodations.
FALL 2008 ♦ CAREER WORKSHOP WITH RIT/NITD This weekend workshop is for deaf and hard of hearing high school juniors and seniors who wish to learn about potential careers and educational programs. This program has been conducted in 2 other states through RIT and is now coming to Colorado for the first time.
WORK WEEKENDS AT THE CAMP! JOIN US APRIL 26, MAY 10-11, AND MAY 24-25 Help us to make our camp great so you can enjoy it! We provide free lodging and food – you provide sweat labor and good humor. We look forward to seeing you.
