Classes are taught in French (students take a placement exam to determine level). The summer session provides a general overview of French language and culture for all levels. Students will have 21 hours of class per week: 15 hours of French language plus 2 workshops in oral French, phonetics, written French or French culture and civilization, depending on each student's level and ability. Students will earn a total of 84 contact hours for the summer session.

Students will live together with the Aspire on-site director at a local student residence. Most classes will be held in the mornings, allowing for participation in Aspire cultural and recreational activities in the afternoon.
