Both the Athens Y Camp and Camp Chattooga are nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Northeast Georgia in the town of Tallulah Falls. Although the camps are only separated by a few thousand yards, each camp has it's own private facilities and programs. The girls camp setting is on a beautiful mountainside with a lake and horse stable surrounded by mountain laurel thickets. A short hike allows the girls to visit beautiful waterfalls entering Lake Tallulah where swimming and canoeing are enjoyed. Campers from all over the world visit the camps every summer. Girls find the camp a place where they can enjoy their individual interests as well as become team players in group activities.
