Benefic Chamber Music Camp, Anna Vayman, Artistic Director, July 29 - August 4th, 2012 at Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana.
Benefic Chamber Music Camp is a week-long intensive learning experience designed to enhance chamber music and collaborative skills for String, Wind, French Horn and Piano students (High School through first years of college.)
Students are instructed by internationally renowned faculty. Camp activities include daily chamber music coaching, private lessons, individual coaching focused on mastering assigned chamber music repertoire, master classes, Concerto Competition, Chamber Orchestra, Guest Artist and Faculty concerts and student chamber music performances.
Faculty include professors from University of Cincinnati, Indiana University, Ball State University and musicians from Indianapolis Symphony and Cincinnati Symphony and Cincinnati Chamber orchestras.
Daily Presentations include musician's development seminars and workshops on Health and Wellness,such as Alexander Technique, the Art of Chamber Music Rehearsal, Improvisation, Sight-Reading, Preparation to Public Performance, Audition Preparation, The Art of Composition and Instrument Maintenance. Camp takes place at the Music Instruction Building that features elite instructional facilities and the state-of-the-art Sursa Performance Hall.
