Middle- and high-school students are led by professional playwrights and master teaching artists as they collaborate with their peers to adapt a story in to an original play. At the end of the four-week session, these original works will be performed onstage at Berkeley Rep to an audience of family and friends. Daily electives and weekly seminars taught by Berkeley Rep’s production staff give students a chance to enhance their theatre training, and to see what happens behind the scenes.
