Summer Focus students take one UC Berkeley course for 3-4 units of transferable college credit, a College Level Writing course, and choose two Summer Focus Enrichment Courses taught by Education Unlimited®'s expert staff. Our Summer Focus Enrichment Courses are afternoon classes designed to compliment the student's UC Berkeley course. In addition to their university class, students choose from a variety of electives such as SAT Prep, creative writing, surfing, or Film History. Live-in tutors provide help with students' course work on most evenings. Recreational weekend excursions include trips to San Francisco, Santa Cruz beach boardwalk, Great America amusement park, live theater and Major League Baseball games. Berkeley Summer Focus is run in partnership with Berkeley Summer Sessions, UC Berkeley's summer school program.
