Best of Broadway Summer Camps
Summer Address:
Children will learn choreography to several (approx. 6) popular Broadway show tunes from the “Best of Broadway” production. They also learn stage directions, how to costume themselves and use props. It is a great opportunity for locals and vacationers to have a great time, make friends, and learn professional dance in the Old Orchard Beach area. Practices and shows are typically held at the "Temple" in Ocean Park, just 15 minutes south of Portland, and a short stroll from Old Orchard Beach, Saco, and Biddeford.

9:00-9:40: Adults - Dance warm up/stretch/line dace - Start your morning off with a good stretch and aerobic warm up a la' Deb's "Best of Broadway" style. Also open to all dance camp kids.
9:45-11:00: Children ages 6 and up learn choreography to several popular Broadway show tunes from the "Best of Broadway" production. Open to all dance levels.
11:00-12:00: Intermediate/advanced class for kids 10 and up. Must have an intermediate dance level or have taken this summer camp for at least 2 years. Learn and perform a more advanced style of Broadway choreography.
July 11 and August 8 - 11:30 - Ocean Parks Dance Camps' own mini "Best of Broadway" show. Kids show off what they have learned during the week in a mini production. Free to the public.
