For most age groups camp occurs Monday to Friday from 9:00 - 4:00 pm with the exception of overnights. Every space at Camp Bonaventure is heavily subsidized through fundraising efforts. The price you pay is not the actual to Between Friends Club. MINNOWS is a very special program for our littlest participants under the age of seven! Minnows will occur Monday to Friday from 10:00 - 3:00 pm. This age group runs in one week sessions rather than two week sessions and will not have overnights. Remember you can always sign up for more than one consecutive week. Each week Minnows will have 4 spaces available for participants who wish to attend from 9:00 - 4:00 pm. Cost per week is $240. We are able to considerably subsidize Camp Bonaventure through fundraising efforts, specifically our Skate, Walk or Wheel a-Kid-to-Camp event. Please see the related fee payment information for payment options. BEFORE AND AFTER CARE Before and After Care is also available for campers who require it. Before Care is available from 7:30 - 9:00 am and After Care is available from 4:00 - 5:30 pm. The cost is $55 for Before Care and $55 for After Care for a two week session. If your camper requires 1:1 support for Camp Bonaventure, arrangements must be made to have the same support for Before Care and After Care. There are only 10 spots per session so remember to sign up early! WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE OFFERED? Activities at Camp Bonaventure may include: horseback riding, canoeing, wall climbing, swimming, sailing, arts and crafts, games, overnight camp outs, camp fire sing-a-longs, and much more! Please note Minnows activities repeat every two weeks. SUPPORT RATIOS Camp Bonaventure can accommodate participants with a 1:2 to 1:6 ratio with most groups organized into a 1:4 counselor to participant ratio. We use information collected on participant profiles to assist us in structuring ratios within our groups and in providing additional volunteer support as required. If your child requires a 1:1 support ratio, they are welcome to attend camp with their private support aide. If you are unsure if your child will require a private support aide please contact Tannis Smith HELP DESIGN THE CAMP T-SHIRT Your design could be on the Summer Programs 2011 camper t-shirt!
