We have expanded popular programs and re-designed others and are pleased to announce new and additional options for students ages 3-20.  We hope these exciting curriculums and programs will be a welcome change and expansion to our school year program. 

In Ballet Stories, each day children (ages 3-6) will take a creative movement/pre-ballet class; after a short break, they will explore all aspects of a famous classical ballet through the characters, storyline, music and mime.  The stories will come alive with the students’ own natural curiosity and creativity.

Young Dancers Summer Workshop (ages 7-14) - Students will continue their classical ballet training while exploring the wider world of dance.  Students will participate in a daily technique class followed by a rotating schedule of classes such as jazz, musical theatre, flamenco and Chinese dance. 

Summer Ballet Intensive (ages 11-14) – New this year, the Summer Ballet Intensive is specially created for ballet students who wish to fine-tune and perfect their technique.  The Summer Ballet Intensive is a great opportunity to extend summer training and maintain peak physical shape.  Each day will begin with a technique and pointe class, followed by an enrichment class such as Pilates, character, flamenco, or variations.

Master Class Series (ages 14-20) Also new this year, the Master Class Series is designed for serious ballet students who endeavor to extend their technical expertise and learn from Boston Ballet School senior faculty and master instructors.  Not only will this two-week master series enable dancers to polish their technique, but it will also help them gain experience with a variety of styles.  Each day will consist of a rigorous technique and pointe class.  The Master Class Series is an excellent way to supplement July summer intensive training.
