Over the next two weeks, you'll:

•Learn to sing with a true rock/pop/gospel technique (the Bristol Vocal Method©)     from the best in the industry
• Develop your unique performing style so you can “wow” an audience
• Write and record a song in our professional studios
• Kick your dance skills into high gear
• Freshen up your image and capture your look in a professional photo shoot
• Put everything together in a final performance.......and more!

Bristol Future Idols is headed up by the Artist Development professionals who created and manage Universal/Motown pop/R&B vocal group Jada. (www.myspace.com/Jada) Our producers and artist development team have also worked with the Dropkick Murphys/Warner, Niia/Yclef Records (Wyclef Jean's label), and many other successful recording artists.  New England's top Artist Development Company, Bristol has a 25 year history of helping artist acquire the skills and tools necessary to achieve their goals in the music industry. Bristol Future Idols will help you build the foundation of skills and knowledge needed to get you started in the music industry, or if you've already begun, further your goals. Singers of all music styles and levels are welcome. Daily instruction covers:

SCHEDULE: 

9:00-9:15 Vocal Warm-ups

9:15-11:00 Vocal Master Class 

Understand basic vocal methods and the four tone qualities of pop, rock, R&B, gospel, jazz, and blues. 

11:00-11:30 Break/Change for Dance

11:30-12:30 Dance Class

Learn about popular dance styles and how to incorporate movement on stage. 

12:30-1:30 Lunch Field Trip 

1:30-3:00 Performance Workshop

Learn to be comfortable and confident on stage, handle nervousness and stage fright and achieve star presence and charisma on stage and much more!

3:00 -5:00 Songwriting Class & Recording

You'll learn the ABC's of songwriting, then collaborate on an original song to be produced and recorded in our state-of-the-art recording studio.

Then class is led by Bristol Studios' senior producer Chris Billias, whose credits include Jada (Universal/Motown), Dropkick Murphys (Warner), Yo Yo Ma (Sony), Meatloaf (Virgin), and many more.
