Broadway Theatre Project classes and rehearsals are held in the last 3 weeks of July from approximately 8:30am to 10:00pm, seven days a week. Students are placed in classes based on ability in dancing, singing and acting, as well as their age. Curriculum is set in advance and every student must attend classes in all musical theatre disciplines. Class placement is based on initial audition performance as well as further evaluation at BTP. Broadway Theatre Project is not only interested in artistic training but also in creating a well rounded, disciplined, healthy performer and company member. The goal is to sharpen the physical, mental and emotional tools required to enjoy a healthy existence in the performing arts arena. Curriculum also includes faculty panels on topics such as Auditioning, Life on the Road, Getting Started in the Business and College Selection as well as on-site sessions with Universities.
