Campers will start out the week with some basic ground lessons, and will be evaluated according to their individual experience and comfort levels. Througout the week, campers will learn lessons about basic horse care, safe horsemanship, feeding and nutrition, games on horseback and even the basics of showing! Camp is open to children ages 7-17, and runs Mon-Fri from 9AM to 1PM, with two preschool sessions per year, and various advanced weeks throughout the season. (After-camp day-care may be available with prior notice. Age limits may be flexible.) Camp fee is $250, with a $50 deposit due with registration. Please note that there is a limit of 10-12 campers per week. This allows for our 1:6 maximum instructor to camper ratio.
