CAMP MOWGLIS in New Hampshires lakes and mountains
Mowglis provides a traditional camp experience to help boys develop confidence, independence, personal resources, and a sense of responsibility toward others and the environment.
Mowglis is situated in the heart of New England on Newfound Lake, one of the cleanest lakes in the United States. The property consists of 135 acres of pine woods and open space, as well as an extensive shoreline. Throughout camp there are playing fields, riflery and archery ranges, clay tennis courts, and a fully equipped crafts shop. Rustic open-air dormitories, assembly halls, and an infirmary are among the facilities set into the wooded surroundings. Two waterfront areas with two boathouses are well suited to serious water sports.
Mowglis' programs include hiking, rowing crew, canoeing, backpacking, woodworking, axemanship, sailing, windsurfing, swimming, tennis, photography and other traditional activities.
An enrollment limited to 85, and a camper/staff ratio of four-to-one ensure the satisfaction of parents. The high return rate in successive seasons proves how much boys love the Mowglis experience and look forward to it each year.
The single seven-week session runs from June 21 to August 10. Financial assistance is available. Visit our website for more details.

June 21 - August 10, 2008, Seven weeks, $5450. Tuition assistance is available.
At a time when other camps offer sessions that are a week or two long, Mowglis continues to offer a full seven-week program, as it has for over 100 years. Experience has shown that the greatest benefits of camp result when boys form deeper friendships, engage more deeply in their favorite activities, and become an integral part of the camp community. These take time, and after seeing the growth in their sons at the end of the summer, parents appreciate the benefits of a longer program.
