CAPTAIN COOKS CULINARY ACADEMY
Summer Address:

Does your child prefer the food network to the cartoon network? This is the place where budding young chefs mix and measure their way to delicious, nutritious recipes all summer long. Kids will learn basic cooking and baking techniques, nutrition, team work, kitchen/food safety and more while they broaden their little palates and experience new tastes and flavors. Campers will have 3 camps to choose from:
Iron Chef Challenge: Each day your junior chef will create recipes using a secret ingredient revealed to them. They will learn valuable skills such as team work and how to create a delicious meal using what's available. Our trained chefs will guide them through the process of using cookbooks and their imaginations to create tasty meals.
Basics of Baking: Young chefs will learns about beginner baking techniques as we prepare yeast breads and quick breads, pies and pastries, cakes and cookies, and pizza and breadsticks and much much more...
Around the World: Campers will take a culinary journey around the world. Each day we will visit a new country and experience new cultures and new tastes. Our adventure begins with Italy and continues through France, Greece, Mexico and ends in China.
