CYT Vancouver/Portland – Theater Camps
Summer Address:
Christian Youth Theater Summer Camps offer a supportive environment for kids and teens who love to be on stage; or who are interested to learn what it is like to be on stage for the first time. Each camp begins with kids learning a song or reading from the script for the camp show auditions. Once the camp show is cast, kids work in teams to learn parts of the show to be ready to perform at Friday night’s Camp Showcase.
CYT camp scripts offer opportunities for lots of kids to have parts; whether big or small. CYT camp leaders are theater professionals whose primary focus is teaching kids to do their best as they work together with the rest of the cast. Campers get a break from rehearsals each day to compete in large group games.
