Camp Bil-O-Wood, founded in 1946, is a traditional, co-ed, summer camp for children ages 7-17. We are located in Blind River, Ontario, Canada, and thus enjoy Northern Ontario as our summer playground.

Our Mission |
Our purpose is to assist each camper to gain self-confidence, to develop skills, and to foster friendships. As we motivate campers to learn and grow, we strive to show them that they are in control of their futures. The world our children live in is becoming more complex every year and in order for our youth to flourish they must first know themselves. At Bil-O-Wood we encourage this self-awareness by helping campers to interact in the cabin, on the athletic fields, in special activities and on canoe trips. The camp atmosphere and the solitude of the Canadian woods provide an ideal environment for campers to develop the physical strength and mental alertness to face life's challenges and adventures; both in camp and at home. We pledge to help each camper improve his or her outlook for a more satisfying future; physically, morally, mentally, spiritually, and socially. TO THIS WE DEDICATE OUR CAMP AND THE EFFORTS OF ITS PERSONNEL.

Rates and Dates
Camp Bil-O-Wood operates for eight weeks each summer. Children can attend for two weeks*, four weeks or all eight weeks. Also, some special arrangements can be made for children who need a flexible schedule. However children must attend for at least two weeks during the summer.

*New in 2007 (Session 4 & 5 are on available for gradeschool age kids)
2008 Rates: (US Dollars)
u 2 week Camper - $1700 + Tax*
u 4 week Camper - $2900 + Tax*
u 8 week Camper - $4500 + Tax*
* Tax includes 6% GST and 3% PST
Nearly 65% of our families register at the close of each season. If you are interested it is important for you to contact the camp winter office as soon as possible.
