| Construction | |
| The uniqueness of CBT lies in its focus on practical construction. Every morning campers involve themselves in valuable trades such as carpentry, electric, framing, automotive, painting, plumbing, masonry, and more. We believe that the experience that boys gain from working with each other and with expert sub-contractors in each of these fields will prove to be extremely useful in their lives. CBT campers will emerge with the skills necessary for their own homes and beyond! | |
| Learning | |
| Part of the afternoon in CBT is spent in the Beit Midrash, where we make it our priority to instill Torah values in our campers. The learning is divided into two sessions, the first of which focuses on relevant, contemporary issues that arise in Jewish life. Campers have the opportunity during this time to discuss topics that are of interest to them under the direction and guidance of rebbeim and counselors. During the second session, campers have the option to choose from among several different subjects, including halacha (Jewish law), parsha (weekly Torah portion), gemara (Talmud), and more. Every boy in Camp Binyan Torah receives the individual attention he needs to flourish in his personal growth. It is through such care and amidst a warm environment that CBT campers develop long lasting relationships with their counselors and rebbeim. Whether it is with a chavrusa, rav, or counselor, our campers are given the resources to grow together – and to enjoy themselves at the same time! |
