Operated by the West Suburban YMCA, Camp Chickami is an outdoors based camp on our wooded 22-acres in Wayland, MA that campers and staff refer to as “the best place on earth.”  Campers spend the morning with their group doing activities including swim lessons, nature, arts and crafts, drama, campsite building, low ropes, archery, small group games and competitive activiites.  During the afternoon, the staff run different traditional and not so traditional activities for the campers to choose, including nature hikes, frog catching, challenge course, free swim, frisbee golf and sports leagues to name a few.  Plus, there are a variety of special events including color war, themed overnights, family nights, a carnival and more throughout the summer!
