Camp Comfort
Summer Address:

Since 1995, Mt. Evans Hospice in Evergreen, CO has offered Camp Comfort as a way for children to explore their feelings and share memories of their loved ones. More than 600 children have attended Camp Comfort since its inception.
Children learn ways to cope with their grief through workshops and activities, building skills that will help them now and throughout their lives. The grief workshops are balanced with recreational activities like swimming, hiking, horseback riding, and fishing so children feel free to have fun and just be kids. All activities are supervised by trained social workers, staff, and volunteers.
