Camp Concepts at George School combines to offers several unique summer camp opportunities for kids ages 3-16.

EXPRESSIONS DAY CAMP-Special Needs Camp- a unique summer camp experience for kids ages 4-16 with High Functioning Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Nonverbal Learning Disabilities, PDD-NOS and similar social challenges. This 6 week summer program offers this special population of kids an opportunity to enjoy a traditional summer camp experience but one that is carefully designed to develop stronger social skills through carefully selected interactions with peers. Progam includes computers, drama games, talent show, nature, arts & crafts, trips and much, much more. George School Day Camp- traditional day camp program for kids ages 6-14. GSDC features low camper to staff ratio, 25 meter indoor pool, 265-acre campus, fabulous full service cafeteria lunch, off campus trips and a phenomenal on campus program the features a wide variety of age appropriate games and activities. In operation since 1977, GSDC helps create a strong sense of community within the camp as we strive to create lasting summer camp memories for kids. June 22-August 7, 2009

Little Buds Day Camp- a camp specifically designed for kids ages 3, 4 & 5. This 8 week program offers flexible week selection as well as 3 day or 5 day options. Three year olds have the option of a 3 or 5 day “mini” camp. Camp is held on the beautiful 265 acre campus of George School. Program features creative hands on learning in a creative, stimulating and nurturing enviornment. Low camper to staff ratio, fantastic lunches in the full service cafeteria and the option of instructional swim lessons two or four times a week! Summer Explosion- is a unique on week day camp that provides campers ages 6-14 with the opportunity to develop stronger communication and problem solving skills through various game and activity based challenges. Summer Explosion captures creativity similar to Odyssey of the Mind and combines that with the thrill of Survivor and creatively melds it all together for the youthful excitement of Kid Nation. Campers will develop stronger leadership and interpersonal skills as they learn to “accept the challenges” of this unique camp program. Camp program also includes computers, hands on design challenges and many team oriented activities. Campers also enjoy daily free swim in the indoor 8 lane, 25 meter pool.
