DescriptionBack to top

Camp Eagle Island is a place where campers can enjoy waking up to the sun beaming through their tents and falling asleep to the sounds of the loons talking across the lake.  It is a camp where traditions are constantly made every summer and a place where the cheering of children can be heard throughout the Saranac Lake.  We have many programs to offer and are constantly thinking of new one's to put into place.  At Camp Eagle Island we have a wonderful sailing unit where the kids learn everything from the parts of a boat, tying many knots to sailing solo.  We also have tripping units that take the wonderful scenery around us and travel, living like true campers.  Hiking through the Adirondacks and High Peaks; white water rafting, exploring caves at Howes Caverns, and canoeing on beautiful Saranac Lake.  We also have units where the girls can be girls and do yoga, creative writing, build their self esteem, have sleepover parties, and learn new dance moves.  Camp Eagle Island offers many programs for girls of all ages and backgrounds.

Ever live on an island?  If you can't answer this right away then you should definitely come and experience a summer of a lifetime.  Live where Chief Eagle lived and experience the variety our island has to offer.
