Camp Excel is a specialized summer camp for children ages 5-17 with ADHD and others with Social Skills Challenges.  The program focuses on developing social skills, problem-solving, and building self-esteem.  This comprehensive program includes an educational component with special education teachers, sports skills training with physical education teachers, social skills groups with a Masters level therapist, arts and crafts, photography, cooking, nature, music, teen leadership, off-site trips, swimming daily, and a weekly parenting group with free childcare provided.  Child to staff ratio is 3:1 with all adult staff.  It is a six-week program (July 5-August 15), Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 3pm located at our AIR CONDITIONED facility in Allenwood (Wall Twp), NJ.  Transportation provided from central pick-up points.

Our Six Week Program will run from July 2 to August 13 (followed by an optional session - August 14 to 17). Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (with extended day hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. available at an additional charge).


From information provided by parents it can be determined if the child might benefit from the program. Next, an appointment will be made with Ms. Cable to meet with the child and the parents. If it is agreed that this is an appropriate placement and that the program will meet the child’s needs, the child will be enrolled.
