Camp Firefly
Summer Address:
Camp Firefly is a week-long overnight camp for children with social disorders such as Asperger's, High-Functioning Autism, Social Anxiety, OCD, etc.
Camp Firefly offers a fun and therapeutic camp focused on enhancing social, language, sensory, and adaptive development. Activities are designed to offer appropriate, interactive therapeutic group activities and fun social camp activities.
Counselor to camper ratios are small and counselors are highly trained in the treatment and care of children with social communication disorders. Counselors have degrees in mental health, special ed, occupational or speech therapy, and are supervised by on-site psychologists.
Cabin groups are small (4-5) to better promote friendships and positive social interactions among campers in a supportive and safe atmosphere.
