Camp Giddy Up
Summer Address:

Camp Giddy Up is a unique equestrian experience provided by the National Ability Center in scenic Park City, Utah. Camp Giddy Up is a week long day camp that teaches basic English and Western riding as well as horsemanship skills in a safe and fun environment. Camp Giddy Up is open to Beginner and Intermediate level riders ages 8 to 15.
At Camp Giddy Up, campers will learn how to ride, but also how to care for a horse. Daily duties include handling, grooming, tacking, feeding, cleaning out stalls and riding. Other horse related activities such as games, vaulting and pony cart driving will be offered. In an effort to teach complete horse care, campers will also participate in classroom discussions/activities about the history of the horse, horse health, confirmation, colors, markings and breeds. Each group will have a chance to create a fun craft to remind them of their week at Camp Giddy Up.
