Rock Island is an incredible week-long rock and roll experience taking place on our summer New England Island Campus. From July 30th-August 4th students will work in their own band and one-on-one with our faculty band in residence consisting of international touring rock musicians from throughout the country!

Rock Island is an actual island (Star Island) off the coast of Portsmouth, NH. We will be departing from School of Groove at 8am on July 30th, you may drop off at school, or meet us at the dock in Portsmouth NH no later than 9:45am. We will return on Saturday, August 4th at 10am. Pick up at School of Groove by noon. Join us then on Saturday night at School of Groove’s own Xibus Performance Hall (August 4) at 6pm for a concert extravaganza!

Once on the island, campers will have morning and afternoon music classes and evening jam sessions with our faculty band. Outdoor activities will be planned for each day ranging from basketbasl and soccer to swimming and capture the flag.
