For all ages...For all seasons! Hantesa is located in the Des Moines River Valley next to Ledges State Park. Founded in 1919 as an overnight summer camp, Hantesa offers children an opportunity for fun, adventure and challenge. Today, staff and camper alike work together to develop self-esteem, leadership, decision making skills and an appreciation for the world around us. Hantesa also offers a Retreat and Conference Center. Away from the distractions of everyday life, Hantesa provides a warm, relaxing atmosphere to achieve your goals as you relax. Hantesa is a year round facility with heated cabins, meal services and activities that can be arranged to meet your group's needs.
