Camp staff is selected specifically for their desire to work with youth, positive attitude, exuberance about the natural environment and dedication to positively influencing the leaders of tomorrow. Camp is an intense, but fun environment that stretches an individual's skill, personally and professionally, as well as enhances resumes through problem solving, working with diverse individuals and pushing individual limits. The camp season is eight weeks in length with one week of pre-camp training and seven camper weeks. An optional specialty week of training is offered preceding pre-camp for American Red Cross Lifeguard training, American Canoe Association Instructor training, National Archery Association Instructor training etc.
