Camp Kateri is a 525 acre site located just southeast of Gainesville, Florida. The camp has a variety of natural settings including 2 lakes, marshes, open fields and mixed hardwoods. A horseback arena is your first site as you enter beautiful Camp Kateri. Activities are varied and strive to meet all interests. Girls ages 6-17 attend Camp Kateri. Girls do not have to be a Girl Scout to attend. Leadership opportunities are available for older girls including CIT training. During their stay at camp girls live in cabins, platform tents, or treehouses depending on their age. Camp Kateri is owned and operated by Girl Scouts of Gateway Council, Inc. and is an American Camping Association accredited camp.
