Camp Kennebec
Situated in Arden Ontario near Kingston, Camp Kennebec sits on 900 acres, and surrounded by 5 lakes. We are an inclusive residential camp for children and young adults with ADD/ADHD, ASD, learning disabilities, behavioural exceptionalities, and mainstream campers. For 40 years, Kennebec boasts its individualized program, which creates an exciting and stimulating atmosphere. We offer over 50 activities including out-trips to the movies, and local provincial parks as well as an optional academic program. Our professional staff consist of teachers, nurses, psychologists, social workers and occupational therapists, and we keep a 2:1 camper to staff ratio at all times. This allows us to remain focused on our social and life skills programming. Our secondary focus is on leadership and team building, helping your camper become independent and more confident within a non-competitive and humorous atmosphere. We offer complete and balanced diets recommended by the Canadian food guide that includes 3 meals and two snacks. Our chef will prepare special dietary meals upon request.
