Camp Lonehollow is a one of a kind summer camp in Texas. Picture this: a surreal mountainous landscape, 60 + activities to choose from, delicious food, and air conditioned luxury stone cabins. How can it get any better? All of these things are great additions to our summer camp, but what makes Lonehollow truly unique is our intense dedication to providing an inspirational, life changing experience through our, “geared to live” program.  This program prepares kids for life, not just summer camp. Lonehollow’s curriculum is developed around the full circle approach, which teaches everything from start to finish, head to tail, and bow to stern. At Lonehollow, each child is cared for on an exceptionally personal level. Our summer camp strives to meet every camp family’s goals and expectations.

At Lonehollow campers leave the trappings of today’s modern world behind and set out on a personal finding of their own exceptional talents. Through hands-on learning, challenges and personal successes, each camper will take home a sense of achievement and higher sense of self. In addition to confidence building, Lonehollow focuses on serving others. The world we live in can be extremely self-centered. We want to help children discover how important it is to be a part of something bigger than themselves.

Our summer camp does not provide just a little taste of fun; campers get the whole enchilada. Campers walk away with a stronger skill set in every area of interest. For example, anyone can catch a fish, but does your child know how to fillet and cook it as well? Woodworking projects advance from learning the basic techniques, to creating a tree house together with a team in the heart of Texas.

Our mission is to create and sustain a magical environment where campers become geared for life. Lonehollow’s top priority is to provide your children with the best summer camp experience achievable. Begin your summer camp adventure with us today!
