In a week of King's Camp you experience:

Intimate times of worship while in the midst of God's beautiful creation

Jump on the Blob in the lake and go canoeing down the Rock River

Team building and personal development through setting up where you are going to sleep and cooking your meals together

Go hiking in order to experience God in a serene setting
-
Silly Camp songs and games where you get dirty (or stay clean... it's up to you!)
In a week of Horse Camp you experience:
-
Energetic Chapel times where you will find out what it means to live a life for Jesus Christ
-
Learn how to ride, groom, feed, and saddle horses
-
Team building and personal development through working with your friends to take care of the horses you ride
-
An end of the week horse show for family and friends where you get to show off all of your new skills and knowledge

Silly Camp songs and games where you get dirty (or stay clean... it's up to you!)
Both the Explorer and Journey Day Camp programs feature activities similar to a rotational model of learning. Campers will spend time throughout their week breaking into small groups and rotating through various structured excercises, as well as activities of their own interest.
Following in this vision, a week of Day Camp may include but is not limited to:

Bible Time :: activities that engage children, daily, in learning about God and His character through song, skits or dramas, small group discussion, and prayer

Interest Groups :: activities that allow campers to pursue areas of their own interests, ranging in a variety of options

Large Group Games :: have you ever played capture the flag on over 30 acres of land? Want to?

Free Time :: 2 hours every day where campers have the option to visit: the NEW Aquatic Center, game room, pickle shack & camp store, pond, or art hut. All areas are supervised with Camp Manitoqua summer staff and or life guards

Creation Exploration :: interactive and hands on activities that investigate God's creation and our role in it
-
Arts & Crafts :: exploration of the arts through individual, small group, or all camp projects

Small Group Games :: includes team building initiatives or games/activities that are specific to each age group
Extra Day Camp Activities
-
Before & After Care :: available for all of our Day Campers (exception for Pre-K and K in the afternoon) for $5 per camper / per use. Located in the Game Room (lower level of the Dining Hall) campers can play torpedo ball, pool, cards, or anything else they dream up. Hours are 7:15am until camp begins and after camp until 6:00pm.

Swim Lessons :: From 10:00am until 10:45 campers can learn Level I or Level II.
