Camp Nawakwa
Summer Address:

Camp Nawakwa is located in the Barton Flats area of the San Bernardino National Forest at an elevation of 6890'. Founded in 1947, this 14-acre camp has provided the youth of our local communities with an educational and stimulating outdoor experience for more than 64 years. Being outdoors is one of the distinctive features of the camp experience, and youngsters have few other opportunities to learn about the natural world. Campers also learn to take responsibilities, develop skills, and gain confidence while they are building independence and self-reliance. Camp Nawakwa is accredited by the American Camping Association for maintaining high quality standards in both site and program management. The facilities offer various amenities for outdoor activities; an Olympic sized swimming pool, archery range, climbing wall and nearby Jenks Lake.
