DescriptionBack to top

At Outdoor Adventure Inc., we specialize in fine-tuning the leader within each individual, while exposing them to the wonders of nature. Through friendly competition and team building initiatives, supervised by our Outdoor Adventure Specialists, participants begin developing and perfecting their own personal style of leadership. Additionally, our Nature Specialists help participants gain a new-found appreciation for the beauty that is the natural world.
We pride ourselves in creating a very non-judgmental environment where all participants are supportive and encouraging; where individuals can comfortably make mistakes and learn from them. Long lasting friendships are quickly made and participants works together to attain common goals, as well as help individuals reach their personal goals. We also help participants attain certifications that are provincially, as well as nationally recognized (Ontario Recreational Canoe Association certification, Duke of Edinburgh Award requirements etc...).
Our highly dedicated staff is trained to motivate, challenge and support the youth of today. We are committed to safely push every participant to reach her or his own personal seemingly "out-of-reach" goals, regardless of experience or skill level and vow to adapt the program to insure that participants are adequately stimulated.
Safety and quality are one of our greatest concerns. As such, all staff members have, as a minimum, Standard First Aide with CPR-C, a clean Police Screening and have experience working with youth. Furthermore, all of our staff are instructors of at least one outdoor related field. Our Trippers in addition to the above mentioned requirements have, as a minimum, Advanced Wilderness First Aide with CPR-C, Bronze Cross and have logged at least 1500 tripping hours.
