Camp Piankatank
We're located in Hartfield, VA, which is about a 1 1/2 hour drive east of Richmond and a 1 hour drive north of hampton roads area and 1 1/2 hours south of Fredericksburg. We believe camp can be a fun, adventurous and spiritual experience.
In our adventure camps campers experience all the activities we offer: crafts, sports, swimming, ropes course, rock wall, archery, canoeing, and campout one night of the camp's island.
In our specialty camps campers experience a focused activity like sailing, canoeing kayaking (water adventure), horse riding (in our horse riding overnight camp for girls) or sports (outdoor outburst camp). This year we've added two new specialty camps: Fishing Camp and Ed-venture camp (Educational Adventures).
Our facilities are modern and well kept. We opened 6 new cabins in 2010. These new cabins are spacious with new beds, large bathrooms, a living room, and of course air conditioning. Our staff are highly trained and specialize in giving your camper a great week. Our food is fantastic and don't forget to visit our camp store for some goodies.
Please visit our website www.camppiankatank.org for more about us.
Campers do not need to be baptist or a member of a church to attend. We have campers from all backgrounds attend.
