Camp Shachar
Summer Address:

Our campers come together from all over the United States.
The trip is divded into 2 age groups.
The Tzirim group (current 7th & 8th graders) will spend the entire 6 weeks in Israel and enjoy all of the attractions and adventures that Israel has to offer.
Every year, the Bogrim group (current 9th-11th graders) spend the first part of their 6-week Israel program touring different European cities and see fantastic attractions as well as vibrant Jewish life in Europe. This year Camp Shachar is headed to Italy & Spain for 10 days before embarking to Israel.
Both groups gain important leadership skills and develop a strong sense of identity and independence through Camp Shachar's special projects. These projects include chesed (charity) activities, meetings with members of the Knesset, mini-military training, and group cooperation.
Staying in touch
As camp progresses, campers "write home" through our online adventure journal; pictures are posted frequently on our website. Parents are further kept informed through weekly email updates.
