Camp Stewart for Boys is a privately owned, Christian-oriented, non-denominational camp for boys ages six to sixteen located in the heart of the famed Texas Hill Country. It is the oldest continually operated camp in the Southwest, founded in 1924.

Camp Stewart strives to develop the total boy: to enhance and build self-confidence and greater feelings of self-worth, teach new skills, enhance old skills, teach goal setting, the making of lasting friendships, and provide exposure to persons from other geographical parts of the world, all in a spirit of fun.

Stewart strives to have 'role model' counselors who are good mentors for growing and impressionable young men. They are carefully selected, screened thoroughly, and go through an extensive training orientation prior to camp. Our camper-to-counselor ratio is 3:1!

Clinics are an integral part of the Stewart program. Several times a week, specialists in their field are in camp to share their knowledge and talents with campers. These may range from well-known sports figures of the past to current World Champions. Clinics are not only held in sports areas, but Stewart also has vocal clinics, horseback clinics, tennis, arts and crafts, arrowhead flaking, fishing, etc...

And it's All done in a Spirit of FUN!!

An amazing experience. From driving through the gates to leaving it, you feel more then special and are treated as an individual rather than just another parents. Everything was well organised on opening and closing day and the staff were very professional big kids! I really couldnt fault any of the service or the facilities on offer to my son. 3 months later he is still talking about it on a daily basis and everything has been positive!
