Established in 1949, this non-profit multi-cultural program is located in the pristine Trinity Alps Wilderness in northern California. Set in a mountain valley around our private alpine lake, this rustic 2-week outdoor program highlights backpacking and outdoor living. The program emphasizes personal and social growth through individual accomplishments and group living. Traditional camp activities include rock climbing, canoeing, fishing, archery, swimming, arts and crafts, a sweat lodge and nightly campfires. Special programs that are offered include a Leadership Training program/CIT for 16 and 17 year olds, and backpacking adventures11 daysspecializing in nature studies, wilderness ethics and outdoor living skills. Transportation from the San Francisco Bay Area is provided.Season dates: Starting with Jun 30 Ending with Aug 17
